My Brother, My Friend

My brother, Cameron, is one of the smartest people I know, not just intellectually, but in business and life. Many people don’t have people inside their home to look up to, but I was fortunate to have one. Even during his mischievous, rebellious years, there’s not another brother that’s better than mine. I wouldn’t even have been able to get this far in photography without my brother. His knowledge and successes motivate me to push myself higher.

Cameron started his career at HCA as an Application Engineer. He then went to Capital Records as a Lead Software Developer. He later returned to HCA as a Consulting Application Engineer which is his current position.

Around the age of 10, Cam developed an interest in videography and computers which lead him to serving in the media department at our church.By the time Cameron entered high school, he went from working with the team to RUNNING the media team.

His passion for videography, put him on the path to entrepreneurship. He began to use his video production skills in business. He continues his entrepreneurship, through NetPaint, his commercial and residential paint company. He and his team have completed jobs all over Nashville, some being Fisk University, Wellsprings Builders, Stacker Building Group, and others.

Last week, Cam was honored for his 20 years of service with Riverside Nashville and I was honored for service with the Young Adult and Outreach Ministry, Impact the City. It was cool that we got to share an awards day together.

Forever my favorite brother and friend. 💙
